Clever design. Sharp strategy. Food at the heart of it all.
Hi, I’m Priya Vig — the creative behind The Odd Peach.

I’ve spent over 15 years working in design, and for the past 8 years, I’ve been fully immersed in the world of food and drink. It’s the space where I’ve found the most joy and the most challenge. Building brands that not only look good, but also connect with people across cultures.

Why food? Because it’s the one thing that truly brings us all together. Every culture approaches it differently, but at the heart of it, everyone has to eat. For some, it's about nourishment, some a reason to get together and, others it's a journey. Being even a small part of shaping that experience through design feels deeply rewarding.

That’s what led me to start The Odd Peach.

The name comes from my childhood nickname, Peachy, and from always feeling like a bit of a creative misfit, never quite following the usual path, but instead carving my own. The Odd Peach is about embracing that difference. It’s about finding the odd, twists that make a brand unforgettable, then sharpening it with strategy and craft.

I keep seeing the same problem: food brands with genuinely great products that can't communicate that greatness on shelf. The design looked fine. The strategy was missing. Today, I partner with food and beverage brands big and small, from ambitious startups to established names, helping them bring their ideas to life through strategy, branding, and design.
At its heart, The Odd Peach is simple: a love of food, a love of design, and the belief that the best brands are the ones with bite.
What I do
Strategy-first branding for food and beverage founders
I work with brands at every stage — from first-time founders building from scratch to established brands relaunching into new markets. My specialty is packaging and brand identity that earns its place on shelf: designed to attract attention, communicate quickly, and hold up against the competition.
I have particular experience with brands entering Western retail for the first time, and with food and beverage categories including sauces and condiments, functional beverages, healthy snacks, specialty grocery, and restaurant concepts.
I take on a limited number of projects at a time — deliberately. When you're working with The Odd Peach, you're working with me directly, not a junior designer or an automated process. Every project gets the full attention it deserves.
My process is transparent: you'll see the competitive research before any design starts. You'll know why each creative decision was made. And you'll receive files you can actually use — not just a logo in a folder.
